A very good quality, large, heavy, English Sterling Silver Cream Jug made by Walker & Hall, Sheffield and dating from c1919. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "W&H" for Walker & Hall, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the "crown" Sheffield town mark and date letter "b" for 1919/20. The underside also stamped "Walker & Hall, Sheffield" under the "W&H" flag trade mark. There is also the number 64461. It measures 6" inches (150mm) in width (handle to spout) and 2 1/4" inches (55mm) in height. It is approx. 4" inches (105mm) in diameter at the widest point. The weight is 182g/6.41oz/5.85ozt In excellent condition, no damage, dents nor repairs, showing very little signs of wear.

Large George V, English Silver Cream Jug c1919
A very nice pair of George III, English Silver Strawberry Dishes made by Henry Chawner, London and dating from c1792. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "HC" for Henry Chawner, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Leopard's Head crowned London town mark and date letter for c1792 (one dish letter "q" the other "r"). A lovely pair of Georgian dishes. They are in excellent condition.

The dishes measure approximately 8 1/2" inches (215mm) in diameter and 1 5/8" inches (40mm) in height. One dish weighs 359.3g/12.67oz/11.55ozt and the other 397.2g/14.00oz/12.76ozt.

A very good quality, English Sterling Silver, swing handled, Sugar Basket made by Stokes and Ireland of Great Hampton Street, Birmingham. It has a very nice, hammered silver finish and is complete with blue glass liner. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "S&I" for Stokes & Ireland Ltd (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland), the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Chester town mark and date letter "L" for 1936/37.

An Antique George III, English Provincial Sterling Silver Gravy (Basting or Stuffing) Spoon made by John Langlands I & John Robertson I, Newcastle c1790. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "IL/IR" for John Langlands I & John Robertson I, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned, the "three castles" Newcastle town mark and the Monarch's Head duty mark. There is no date letter, however the partnership between John Langlands I and John Robertson I is recorded as being active 1778 - 1795 therefore the spoon dates from c1790. They were was assayed in London, hallmarked with the maker's mark "RS" for Robert Stewart, the "Britannia" standard silver mark, the Lion's Head Erased London town mark and date letter "q" for 1911/12. A very Large Antique, Edwardian English Silver Presentation Table Snuff Box made in Birmingham by George Unite and dating from c1908. The inside of the lid is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GU" for George Unite, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark and date letter "h" for 1907/08. The base similarly hallmarked alongside the Birmingham town mark. The box bears a presentation inscription "Presented along with a Gold Albert & Pendant to Alex Brown on his retiring after 45 years service with the Caly. Rly. Coy. by the Loco. Staff & Friends at Stirling." The exterior of the box with decorative floral engraving.

A good cased set of Four, George V, English Silver & Wooden Napkin Rings made in Birmingham and dating from c1935. They have a central band decorated with engine turned engraved decoration, the front with a circular cartouche that is free of engraved initials. The rear with a rectangular panel that is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JGLtd" for Joseph Gloster Ltd, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "L" for 1935/36 (the marks worn on some of the rings). They also have the "PAT No 325841".

The measure 45mm diameter and 31mm in height.
