A good, gentleman's Swiss made, LANCO sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1926. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The English made, sterling silver case is in good condition, both snap closing covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "ALD" for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and the date letter "B" for 1926/27. Also stamped with the case maker's name, Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd. The rear of the case with engine turned engraving and a central cartouche that is free of initials. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed Swiss Made. The good quality, 15 jewel movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Overall, this is a very good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.

All covers open and close correctly. It is stamped with the maker's trade mark and name "Dennison Watch Case Co". A VERY GOOD GENTLEMAN'S STERLING SILVER CASED SWISS POCKET WATCH, LEVER SET. A very good, gentleman's sterling silver cased Swiss Pocket Watch. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The plain silver case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It is stamped "0.935" for 0.935 grade silver (slightly higher grade than English sterling silver 0.925) alongside Swiss "three bears" control marks for silver. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The very good quality, Swiss made, 3/4 plate, Lever movement is in excellent working order. It is signed "Manufactured in Switzerland" and has the serial number 466263. The watch is stem wind/lever set. The time being set by extracting the small lever located at two o'clock (see photo), then turning the winding crown. The watch measures 48m in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Overall, this is a good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.

It is the "Star" model, made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The sterling silver case is in very good overall condition, although it does have some minor indents to the rear. All covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "RWCLd" for the Rolex Watch Company Limited, the ".925" sterling silver mark, the Glasgow town import mark and the date letter "b" for 1924/25. Also stamped "Rolex, 7 World's Records, Gold Medal, Geneva, Suisse". The white enamel dial is in good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The Swiss made lever movement is signed "Rolex" and "15 Jewels, Swiss Made. The watch measures 49mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 77.7g. Overall, this is a good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.
