A World War II era, Swiss, Leonidas Military Pocket Watch. The dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals with a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Leonidas" and "Swiss Made" (see photo). The base metal watch case is in excellent condition. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number GSTP N2040. The Swiss made, 15 jewel movement is in very good condition and working order. The watch is stem wound and set. It is signed by the maker Helvetia and Swiss Made (see photo). The base metal watch case is in excellent condition, but does have wear to the plating on the rear as can be expected. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number. The Swiss made movement is in very good condition and working order. It is signed Helvetia, Swiss made and General Watch Co., Switzerland along with the calibre no. 32A. The watch is stem wound and set. It measures approximately 51mm in diameter. A good, gentleman's, World War II era, American Elgin Military Pocket Watch. The black dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals, with a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Elgin" (see photo). The base metal watch case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company, it is in excellent condition, but with wear to the plating as is normal with this type of watch. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number A05666 although this is quite worn. Both front and rear covers screw off smoothly as they should. The inside of the rear cover stamped with the case maker's name Keystone. The rear case cover screws off to reveal the 9 jewel Elgin movement. It is signed by the maker "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co., USA". The serial number 41,389425 dating the watch to c1943. The watch is stem wound and set. A lovely watch in good condition, it would make a great addition to any collection. A superb, gentleman's, World War II era, American Waltham Military Pocket Watch. The dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals, with an outer chapter in smaller Arabic numerals in red for the minutes. There is a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Waltham" (see photo). The base metal watch case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company, it is in excellent condition, but with wear to the plating as is normal with this type of watch. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number. Both front and rear covers screw off smoothly as they should. The inside of the rear cover stamped with the case maker's name Keystone. The rear case cover screws off to reveal the 9 jewel Waltham movement, adjusted for temp and in 3 positions. It is signed by the maker "Waltham". The serial number 31,692512 dating the watch to c1942. The watch is stem wound and set. A VERY GOOD, WORLD WAR II, SWISS MADE, BLACK DIAL, 15 JEWEL, MILITARY POCKET WATCH. A very good, World War II, Swiss made, Military Pocket Watch (c1940's). This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in working order. The base metal watch case is in very good overall condition. The rear of the case with the British Ministry of Defence (MOD) markings, "GS/TP" for general service time piece above the broad arrow military mark and the serial/issue number. The black enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The Swiss made, 15 jewel, lever movement is in excellent condition. It has been serviced, winds and sets smoothly as it should and is in very good working order. The watch measures approximately 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Overall, this is a good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.
