A good, Illinois Watch Company, Springfield, Illinois USA, sterling silver, Pocket Watch, dating from c1894. The watch has a good 7 jewel, full plate movement. The movement is signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co., Springfield" and has the serial number 1,224370 dating the watch to c1894. The white enamel dial is also signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co. Springfield USA". The hours are in Roman numerals and there is a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The watch complete with a nice original set of blued steel hands. The watch is key wound and set, the time being set by opening the front cover and using the key to rotate the hands. The watch case has the case maker's mark "AB" and also 0.925 for sterling silver. Overall a good example in good condition and working order, although the case does have some minor indents/bruising. The watch measures 53mm across the case. The weight is 110.2g

A nice quality, Antique American Waltham gold plated Fob Pocket Watch dating from c1899. The good quality gold plated case was made by the A L Dennison Watch Case Company. The watch with a good, 11 jewel Waltham movement in excellent condition and working order. Signed by the maker Am Watch Co, Waltham, Mass (USA). The serial watch dating production to c1899. The dial signed by the maker "A.W.W.CO. Waltham, Mass" Note this is a smaller sized (0S size) ladies fob watch. It measures 34mm in diameter. A good example in good condition and working order.

The T-bar hallmarked "WWC" for William Walter Cashmore (Birmingham) with the Lion Passant sterling silver mark and date letter k for 1909/10 and each link of the silver chain hallmarked with the Lion Passant sterling silver mark. The silver fob medallion hallmarked with the maker's mark "HB" for Herbert Bushell, the Lion Passant silver mark, the Birmingham anchor town mark and date letter "k" for 1909/10 The chain measures approximately 13" inches (330mm) The total weight, including the fob is 38.1g. It is in very good condition.

A good, gentleman's Swiss made, sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1930 retailed by J Schuler & Sons Ltd, 127 City Road, London. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The English made, sterling silver case is in good condition, both closing covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "ALD" for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and the date letter "F" for 1930/31. Also stamped with the case maker's name, Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd. The rear of the case with engine turned engraving and a central cartouche that is free of initials. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed Swiss Made and has the retailer's name J Schuler & Sons Ltd, 127 City Road, London. The good quality, Swiss made, DF&C Selex, 15 jewel movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Overall, this is a very good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.
