A good example of a very nice, Antique, Victorian 18CT Gold Pocket Watch by James Ritchie of Edinburgh, dating from c1894. The watch is a good example, in very good overall condition and in working order. The English 18 carat gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "P.W", the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "T" for 1894/95. The inner cuvette similarly marked. The case also stamped with the serial number 6737. The case is in excellent condition, but does have some light surface scratches to the rear. The Lever movement also with the matching serial number. The movement signed James Ritchie & Son, Edinburgh. The watch is stem wound and pin set. The dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The watch measures 51mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 127.2g. A good example of a Victorian Pocket Watch.

The inner cuvette similarly marked. The case also stamped with the serial number 22045. The English Lever movement also with the matching serial number. The watch is key wound and set. The dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The watch measures 49mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 112.6g. A good example of a Victorian Pocket Watch.
