A Limited Edition, Five Pound Proof Coin, issued by Jersey in 2018 to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force (RAF). The obverse of the coin with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse with the official RAF logo above three aircraft specially selected to demonstrate the developments of the RAF over the last 100 years. The aircraft shown in gold are the Sopwith Camel, Supermarine Spitfire and Lockheed Lightning II. This £5 proof coin is encapsulated and in the original fitted case of issue, complete with Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The Certificate of Authenticity confirming the coins specification. Denomination: Five pounds Metal: Cupro-Nickel with gold ink. Finish: Proof Diameter: 38.61mm A limited edition of 4,950 coins. This coin certificate number 1747.
