English Verge Pocket Watch, Fowler
DescriptionA nice Antique English Silver Verge Fusee Pocket Watch, made by William Fowler, in very good condition and in working order. Both solid silver cases are in good condition. They are hallmarked with the Lion Passant silver mark, the Leopard's head London town mark, the case maker’s initials and the date letter "k" for 1845/46. The Verge Fusee movement is in working order. It is key wound and set. The movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and has the serial number 18267. The metal button for the outer case is missing but the case still closes tightly and remains shut (a minor imperfection).
