Scottish Silver & Horn Skean Dhu, Edinburgh 1976
DescriptionA good quality, vintage, Scottish Sterling Silver mounted Horn Skean Dhu made in Edinburgh and dating from c1976.
The silver mount hallmarked with the maker's mark "T.E" for Thomas Kerr Ebutt, the Scottish Lion Rampant sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "B" for 1976. Also stamped "Made in Scotland".
The Skean Dhu with a Horn hilt, silver mounts and a stainless steel blade.
The total length is 8 1/4" inches (210mm).
