15CT Gold Carpenter's Pencil Case, S Mordan & Co
DescriptionA very nice, antique George V, 15CT Gold Carpenter's Pencil Case, made by Sampson Mordan & Co. and dating from c1911.
The case is hallmarked with the maker's mark "SM&Co" for Sampson Mordan & Co., "15" and ".625" for 15 carat gold, the leopard's Head london town mark and date letter "q" for 1911/12. Also stamped with the maker's name "S. Mordan & Co.".
The box has nice engine turned decoration to all sides.
It is in excellent condition.
It measures 72mm x 11mm x 5mm. The weight is 8.9g
