Pair George III, English Silver Strawberry Dishes
DescriptionA very nice pair of George III, English Silver Strawberry Dishes made by Henry Chawner, London and dating from c1792.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "HC" for Henry Chawner, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Leopard's Head crowned London town mark and date letter for c1792 (one dish letter "q" the other "r").
A lovely pair of Georgian dishes.
They are in excellent condition.
