A vintage Sterling Silver Plaid Brooch dating from c1949. The brooch was assayed in Glasgow and is hallmarked to the rear with the maker's mark "WBS" for Ward Brothers (Branston Street, Birmingham), the Lion Rampant Scottish Sterling Silver mark, the Glasgow town mark and date letter for 1949/50. The brooch measures just over 2 1/4" inches (60mm) in diameter.

A very nice, vintage Sterling Silver Kilt Pin or brooch in the form of a Scottish Dirk. The rear of the pin hallmarked with the maker's mark "WJ&S" for W Johnson & Sons (Clifford Street, Birmingham), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham anchor town mark and date letter "L" for 1985. It measures 80mm in length. In excellent condition.

An impressive, vintage, Scottish Provincial Silver Plaid style Celtic Brooch by William Dunningham & Co, Aberdeen and dating from c1950. The silver brooch very nicely engraved with Scottish Celtic style decoration. The brooch is hallmarked to the rear with the maker's mark "WD&Co" for William Dunningham & Co (Aberdeen) alongside the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "U" for 1950/51. The brooch measures 1 3/8" inches (35mm) in diameter. It is in excellent condition.

An impressive, vintage, George V period, Scottish Provincial Silver Plaid style Brooch by William Dunningham & Co, Aberdeen and dating from c1923. The silver brooch very nicely engraved with Scottish thistle decoration. The brooch is hallmarked to the rear with the maker's mark "WD&Co" for William Dunningham & Co (Aberdeen) alongside the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "S" for 1923/24. The brooch measures 1 7/8" inches (48mm) in diameter. It is in excellent condition.

An impressive, antique, Victorian Scottish Silver & Agate mounted Plaid Brooch dating from c1873. The stamped to the rear with the Victorian Registry of Design Kite mark dating the manufacture to c1873. The brooch measures 2" inches (50mm) in diameter. Typical of the period, the silver brooch is not hallmarked, therefore selling as white metal.

An impressive, antique, Sterling Silver & Agate mounted Plaid Brooch made by William Henry Leather and dating from c1909. The brooch hallmarked to the rear with the maker's mark "WHL" for William Henry Leather, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Chester town mark and date letter "I" for 1909/10. The brooch measures 2 1/2" inches (62mm) in diameter.
