An exquisite, Antique, George III, English Silver Brandy Warmer Pan, made in London and dating from c1729.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark (worn and illegible), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head town mark for London and the date letter "O" for 1729/30.
It is in very good condition.
The pan measures approximately 3" inches (75mm at the widest point, the top 2 1/4" inches (60mm).

It is in very good condition, but has a chip off part of the handle (see photo) and some minor indents to the body, nothing serious but mentioned for accuracy. A lovely small coffee pot.

They were was assayed in London, hallmarked with the maker's mark "W&W" for Wakely & Wheeler, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter. The coffee pot "e" for 1960/61, the jug "c" for 1958/59.
They are in excellent condition (see photos).
They measure approximately 9 1/2" inches (240mm) in height.

A very good quality, antique, early Victorian, English Silver Card Case made by Edward Smith, Birmingham and dating from c1850.
The case is hallmarked with the maker's mark "ES" for Edward Smith, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "B" for 1850/51.
The case has attractive engraving to both sides, the centre engraved with the initial "B" for the Bateman family. The case still holds some of the original calling cards with the name "M Bateman, Thornville".
It is very good quality and in excellent condition.

The case has attractive engraving to both sides, the centre with a coronet on one side and the family crest to the reverse.

An exquisite Antique, Mid Victorian, English Silver Presentation Snuff Box made by Frederick Marson, Birmingham.
The box is hallmarked on the inside, the lid with the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the maker's mark "F.M" for Frederick Marson, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham anchor town mark and date letter "Z" for 1874/75. The base having the Monarch's Head, the maker's mark "F.M" and date letter "Z" repeated.
There is a very nice Scottish Interest Presentation Inscription on the lid of the box (see photos)
"Coelum Non Animum Mutant Qui Trans Mare Currant, A small token of Affectionate Regards from Simon Mackenzie MA of Australia to Roderick Hay,Esquire, Banker, Invergordon Scotland May 1876."
The Latin phrase translates to "Those who hurry across the sea change the sky [upon them], not their souls or state of mind".

It is good quality and in good condition, part of the rope chord around the top of the lining is frayed and become loose, a minor imperfection.

A pair of antique, Victorian English Silver Candlesticks made J Sherwood & Sons Ltd, Regent Works, Regent Street, Birmingham and dating from c1899.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JS&S" for J Sherwood & Sons Ltd, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor town mark for Birmingham and date letter "Z" for 1899/1900.
The bases are "loaded". This is common with candlesticks where a heavier infill is added to the base in order to increase stability and to prevent them toppling over for obvious safety reasons.
They measure approx. 7 1/4" inches (185mm) in height, the bases 3 1/2" inches (90mm) square.
They are in reasonably good overall condition, but do have some imperfections There are dents around the rim of the base and one of them has some of the base infill missing from a corner on the underneath. Also one of the sconces has a number of indents.

The tray hallmarked on the base with the maker's mark "IW/WT" for John Wakelin & William Taylor, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and the date letter "q" for 1771/72.
The oval shaped tray is supported on four feet. There is a crest engraved to the centre.
It measures 9" inches (230mm) x 7" inches (175mm). The weight is 267.7g/9.43oz/8.60ozt.
