A superb pair of Antique, George III, Scottish Sterling Silver Gravy, Basting or Stuffing Spoons dating from c1811. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JZ" for John Ziegler, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the "castle" town mark for Edinburgh and date letter "f" for 1811/12. The spoons have engraved initials to the terminals. They measures just over 13" inches (330mm) in length. The weight is 198.5g/7.00oz/6.38ozt. They are in excellent condition.

A vintage Scottish Silver Celtic Penannular Plaid Brooch made by Henderson & Horner Bros of Buchanan Street, Glasgow and dating from c1941. The rear of the brooch hallmarked with the maker's mark "H&HBrs" for Henderson & Horner Brothers, the Lion Rampant Scottish sterling silver mark, the Glasgow town mark and date letter "s" for 1941/42. It measures 2 1/4" inches (57mm) in diameter.

A good quality, vintage Scottish Sterling Silver Clan Brooch with the motto "ORNA VERUM" (translates to Honour the Truth). This is the motto for the Waddell family clan. The brooch is hallmarked to the rear with the maker's mark "LJW", the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "H" for 1938/39. It is in very good condition. It measures 33mm in diameter.

A good quality, Antique, George III, Scottish Sterling Silver Punch Ladle made in Edinburgh and dating from c1807. The ladle with a sterling silver bowl and terminal to a baleen stem. The ladle bowl is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WM" for William Marshall, the Scottish thistle silver mark, the Monarchs's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "b" for 1807/08. It measures 11 1/4" inches (290mm) in length. It has a lovely, deep oval shaped bowl measuring 3 1/4" inches (85mm) wide by 2 1/4" inches (60mm). The Ladle is in excellent condition.

A very nice Scottish Provincial Silver Soup Ladle by William Jamieson, Aberdeen c1820. William Jamieson is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1806 - 1840. The ladle is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WJ" (struck twice) for William Jamieson and "ABD" the Aberdeen town mark. A nice, rare Scottish Silver Ladle in excellent condition. It measures 13" inches (335mm) in length. The weight is 204.7g/7.21oz/6.58ozt

A good quality, Antique, Victorian, Scottish Sterling Silver Soup Ladle made in Edinburgh and dating from c1865. The ladle is Scottish single struck King's pattern. The ladle is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JP", the Scottish thistle silver mark, the Monarchs's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "I" for 1865/66. It measures 13" inches (330mm) in length. It has a lovely, deep bowl measuring 4" inches (100mm) wide. The weight is 228.3g/8.05oz/7.34ozt The Ladle is in excellent condition.

James Douglas is recorded as working in Dundee c1795-1800. The spoons have the engraved initial "G" to the terminals. They measure 12 1/2" inches (315mm) in length. A very nice Antique, Scottish Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made by Andrew Wilkie, Edinburgh and dating from c1825. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "AW" for Andrew Wilkie, the Scottish "thistle" sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "t" for 1825/26. There is an engraved initial (see photo). It measures 8 1/2" inches (217mm) in length. The weight is 56.6g/1.99oz/1.81ozt.

A rare Scottish Provincial Soup Ladle made in Greenock by William Clarke and dating from c1780. The ladle has very clear marks the maker's mark "WC" for William Clarke, the "anchor" sailing ship" and "Green Oak" for Greenock alongside the letter "C". The ladle has an engraved initial (see photo). In very good overall condition, some minor marks in the bowl. It measures approximately 15" inches (385mm) in length, the bowl 3 3/4" iches (95mm) in diameter. The weight is 198.4g/7.00oz/6.37ozt

A very good, Georgian Scottish Silver Tray made by McHattie & Fenwick of Edinburgh and dating from c1802. The tray is supported on three feet. It has floral scrolling engraved decoration with an a crest engraved to the centre (worn). It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "M&F" for McHattie & Fenwick, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "W" for 1802/03. It measures approximately 6 1/2" inches (165mm) in diameter. The weight is 209.8g/7.40oz/6.75ozt. In excellent condition
