A very good quality, Gentleman's 10CT Gold Plated Pocket Watch. This watch is an excellent example, in superb condition and very good working order. The 10 carat gold plated case is in excellent condition. It was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The good quality movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). An extremely nice example of a fine Swiss made watch.

A LARGE, HEAVY, SILVER HUNTER CASED POCKET WATCH, JOHN FORREST, LONDON - A gentleman's Silver Hunter Cased Pocket Watch by John Forrest London. The sterling silver hunter case is English made. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JF", alongside the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Chester town mark and date letter "N" for 1913/14. The case has very nice decorative engraving all over, the front cover with a central cartouche surrounded by a gold belt. The case is in excellent condition. The white enamel dial is in good condition, but has a few hairlines as can be seen, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "John Forrest, London" and also "Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty". The English Lever Fusee movement is in working order, key wind and key set with the key provided. It is complete with dust cover and signed by the maker. The watch measures 58mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 177.1g

A gentleman's 9CT Gold Hunter Cased Pocket Watch by John Forrest London. The 9 carat solid gold hunter case is English made. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "FT", alongside "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Chester town mark and date letter "N" for 1913/14. The case has the initials of the original owner engraved on the front cover. The case is in good condition but does have a few minor indents. The white enamel dial is in good condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "John Forrest, London" and also "Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty". The English Lever Fusee movement is in working order, key wind and key set with the key provided. It is complete with dust cover and signed by the maker. The watch measures 53mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 130.7g

A very nice Antique Regency period, George IV, English Silver Fusee Pocket Watch, made by William Dickman of London, dating from c1823. This is a good, rare, example of a consular cased English Fusee Pocket Watch. It is in good condition but not working and in need of some restoration, however a more affordable example for the watch collector, being sold in unrestored condition. A nice item to have in any collection even if you choose to keep it in the current condition. The solid silver case is in good condition, the hinge to the rear cover slightly weak and opens to beyond 90 degrees as can be expected on this age of case. It is hallmarked with case maker's initials "IG" the Lion Passant silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and the date letter "h" for 1823/24. The English Fusee movement is not in working order. It is key wound and set. The movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and has the serial number 2934. It is signed by the maker "Wm Dickman, London". It is complete with dust cover, also signed and with the matching serial number. The dial is in good condition. The hands and glass are missing. The watch measures approximately 52 mm in diameter (excuding stem and bow ring).

A nice Antique Silver Pocket Watch, Swiss and retailed by S Goldstone of Manchester, in good condition and in working order. The Swiss made "0.935" solid silver case is in good condition (0.935 silver is a slightly higher grade than 0.925 sterling silver). It is marked with the "0.935" silver mark alongside Swiss control marks. The case has engine turned engraving to the rear and a central cartouche that is free of initials. There is a milled finish to the case side band. The case is in very good overall condition, but there are a few minor indents to the side. The English Lever movement is in working order. It is key wound and set with the key provided. It has not been serviced by us therefore sold with the recommendation that it should be serviced as with all vintage/antique watches. The dial is in very good condition. It has Roman numerals to the rear and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the retailer "S Goldstone, Manchester" above "Swiss Made". They are hallmarked with the case maker’s initials "JR" for Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham), the Lion Passant silver mark, the Birmingham anchor town mark and the date letter "f" for 1905/06. A nice Antique English Silver Pair Cased Pocket Watch, made by Stewart Dawson & Co., Liverpool, in very good condition and in working order. Both solid silver cases are in good condition. They are hallmarked with the case maker’s initials "SD&Co" for Stewart Dawson & Co., Liverpool, the Lion Passant silver mark, the Birmingham anchor town mark and the date letter "q" for 1890/91. The inner case has the serial number 189653 to match the movement, proving both are original and have been together since new. The outer case has part of the push button missing, a very minor imperfection, it just means that it is easier to open the case if you use a pointed object to slide through the button hole. The English Lever movement is in working order. It is key wound and set. The movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and has the serial number 189653. It is signed by the maker Stewart Dawson & Co., Liverpool. The dial is in very good condition, it is also signed by the maker Stewart Dawson & Co., Liverpool. The watch measures approximately 54 mm in diameter (excuding stem and bow ring). Overall a very nice old Silver Pair Cased pocket watch, a nice one for your collection.

A lovely, very good quality, 18CT Gold Demi (Half) Hunter Pocket Watch in immaculate condition and working order. The decorative 18CT solid gold case stamped K18 for 18 carat gold alongside the serial number 37994. The front of the case with the hours in Roman numerals on a blue enamel background. Lovely floral engraving to both front and rear covers, the rear having a central cartouche that has engraved initials. The very good quality, Swiss made movement is in good condition and working order. The white enamel dial in excellent condition, with the hours in Roman numerals. A very fine, rare, Gentleman's 14CT Solid Gold Cased Pocket Watch made by the very highly regarded and sought after Union Horlogere, Bienne, Switzerland. The company was founded in 1883. This watch is an excellent example, in superb condition and very good working order. The 14 carat solid gold hunter case is in excellent condition, plain gold with engine turned engraving to the rear cover. It is stamped inside the rear cover with "14K" alongside Swiss control marks for 14 carat solid gold. It also bears the "UH" trade mark and serial number. The inside of the rear cover has an old watch maker's paper from Camerer Cuss & Co., Clock & Watch Makers, New Oxford Street, London. The cuvette (inner dust cover) is not gold. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed "Alpina Chronometer, Bienne - Geneve". The good quality movement is in excellent working order. It also has the UH trade mark. The movement is stem wound and pin set, the time being set by turning the winding crown whilst depressing the small pin located on the case side band at 11 o'clock. The watch measures 53mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 80.9g. An extremely nice example of a fine Swiss made watch.

A very fine, rare, Gentleman's 14CT Solid Gold Hunter Cased Pocket Watch made by the very highly regarded and sought after IWC, the International Watch Company, Schaffhausen. This watch is an excellent example, in superb condition and very good working order. The 14 carat solid gold hunter case is in excellent condition, plain gold with no engravings or other forms of personalisation. It is stamped inside the front cover with "14K/0.585/56" alongside Swiss control marks for 14 carat solid gold. It also bears the IWC trade mark and serial number. The inside of the rear cover and cuvette (inner dust cover) similarly marked. The cuvette also engraved with the maker's name "International Watch Co., Schaffhausen". The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "International Watch Co., Schaffhausen". The good quality movement is in excellent working order. It also has the IWC trade mark. The movement is stem wound and lever set, the time being set by turning the winding crown after pulling out the small lever on the edge of the glass bezel between 4 & 5 o'clock. The watch measures 53mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 104.0g. An extremely nice example of a fine watch made by IWC.

Signed "8 Days" with "Swiss Made" at the bottom. The dial in excellent condition. The Swiss made movement in very good condition and working order. The base metal case in excellent condition.
