ANTIQUE GEORGE III, ENGLISH STERLING SILVER LIDDED TANKARD c1764. A very good Antique Georgian English Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard by Simeon Coley, London and dating from c1764. The tankard is hallmarked with the maker's mark "SC" for Simeon Coley, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver Mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "i" for 1764/65. Also hallmarked on the inside of the lid. This is a very good example and in excellent condition. There is a slight indent to the base rim (see photo) It measures 7" inches (180mm) in height. The base just over 5" inches (130mm) in diameter. The weight is 850g/30oz.

English Silver Soup Ladle, London c1770
A GOOD ANTIQUE GEORGE II, ENGLISH STERLING SILVER MARROW SCOOP WITH CORONET CREST c1750. A very good, 18th century, George II, English Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made in London and dating from c1750. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "EC" for Ebenezer Coker, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter. The date letter is rubbed, however I think it is the letter "l" for 1746/47. This "EC" maker's mark was registered in 1745 and in use until around c1757. There are engraved initials below a coronet (crown). Coronets are small crowns specifying the bearer's rank in the peerage. This marrow scoop is in excellent condition. It measures approximately 8 3/4" inches (220mm) in length. The weight is 52.7g. A lovely example of English Georgian silver for the antique silver collector.

It is hallmarked with the maker's mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "U" for 1919/200. Unfortunately the maker's mark is worn. A very nice jug in good condition, however there are some very minor indents consistent with age and normal use. The jug measures 120mm from spout to handle. It measures 70mm in height. The weight is 140.9g/4.96oz/4.52ozt.

Antique English Silver Teapot, Chester 1913
A very good quality, Pair of English Sterling Silver Ladles made in London by Garrard & Co. The famous firm, Garrard & Co was established in London in 1735 and hold the Royal Warrant as suppliers to the British Royal Family, their relationship with the Royal Family stretching back to 1843 when Garrard was appointed the first official crown jeweller. These ladles are superb quality, made from very heavy gauge silver, the total weight is a massive 147.2g. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "G&CoLD" for Garrard & Company (Regent Street, London), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letters "s" and "t" for 1974. The ladles are in excellent condition with surface scratches consistent with minimal normal use. They measure approximately 6 1/4" inches (160mm) in length. The total weight approximately 147.2g/5.19oz/4.73ozt. A lovely pair of English sterling silver ladles with an excellent pedigree.

Lovely English Silver Sugar & Cream c1890
A limited edition English sterling silver plate produced by The Franklin Mint and created by James Wyeth. This plate from his original work entitled Brandywine Battlefield. Brandywine Battlefield Historic Site is a national historical landmark and is located in southeastern Pennsylvania, United States of America, near Philadelphia. The plate is sterling silver and is hallmarked with the sponsor's mark "JP" for John Pinches, alongside the .925 Sterling Silver mark, the London town import mark and date letter B for 1976. The plate is complete with the original fitted case/box and outer cardboard box. It is accompanied by the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) confirming that the plate is registered and in a limited edition. The plate measures approximately 8" inches (205mm) in diameter.
