A George III English Silver Meat Skewer made in London and dating from c1786. Clearly marked with the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "l" for 1786/87, however the maker's mark is worn. It is in very good condition with marks on the blade as normal and the tip slightly bent. A nice 17th Century piece of Georgian silver. It measures 13" inches (330mm) in length. The weight is 100.2g/3.53oz/3.22ozt

A very nice George IV, English Sterling Silver Stilton Scoop made by John Bettridge of Birmingham and dating from c1823. It is hallmarked with the Lion passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the maker's mark "IB" for John Bettridge, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter "Z" for 1823/24. It measures 8 1/2" inches (213mm) in length. It is in lovely condition.

An immaculate George II, Provincial English Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard by John Langlands I, Newcastle and dating from c1757. The tankard hallmarked with the maker's mark "IL" for John langlands I, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver Mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned and the Three Castles town mark for Newcastle and date letter "S" for 1757/58. This is an extremely good example and in excellent condition. It measures 6 3/4" inches (170mm) in height. The base just under 5" inches (123mm) in diameter. The weight is 609g/21.5oz.

A rare 17th Century, Carolean period, English Silver Seal Top Spoon dating from the reign of Charles I, c1635. The spoon with the maker's mark "M" within a crescent. The seal end with the initials "IS". It is in very good condition. The length is 6 1/4" inches (160mm).

A very nice, vintage, Sterling Silver cased, small travel clock . The sterling silver case with hinged mechanism, opening to convert to a stand and reveal the clock face. The sterling silver case has engine turned engraving to all sides. The interior stamped with the retailers name "ORA, Cambridge & Oxford". Also with English sterling silver hallmarks the retailer's mark "SPO" for S P Ora & Co (Stephanus Paul Ora), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "J" for 1933/34. The Swiss made clock movement in working order. The case when closed measures 48mm x 41mm x 12mm. A lovely small silver cased clock.

A good quality, Antique, Victorian, English Sterling Silver Sauce or Gravy Boat made by Rowlands & Frazer (Henry Frazer) and dating from c1898. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "HF" for Rowlands & Frazer (Henry Frazer), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the London town mark and date letter "C" for 1898/99. It has a double crest to the side. This is a good, heavy gauge, silver sauce boat in excellent condition, with only a minor indent to the underside of the body. It measures 6" inches (150mm) in length. The weight is 176.7g/16.23oz/5.68ozt

A good antique Victorian English Silver Christening Mug. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "ESB" for E S Barnsley & Co (Edward Souter Barnsley), the Lion Passant Silver mark, the Birmingham town mark, the date letter "t" for 1893/94. There is an engraved name to the front "William Matthew Duncan, 7th June 1899" It measures approximately 3" inches (80mm) in height and 2 1/2" inches (65mm) in diameter at the top. The weight is 93.3g/3.29oz/2.99ozt. It is in very good condition.

A very impressive pair of antique, late Victorian English Sterling Corinthian Column Sterling Silver Candlesticks made by Martin & Hall at their Shrewsbury Works in Sheffield and dating from c1900. The candlesticks with reeded columns, the bases decorated with a Ram's head at each corner linked by swags. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "RM/EH" for Martin & Hall (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Crown town mark for Sheffield and date letter "h" for 1900/1901. These large candlesticks measure approx. 13" inches (330mm) in height, the bases 4 1/2" inches (115mm) square. They are in excellent overall condition. The bases are "loaded". This is common with candlesticks where a heavier infill is added to the base in order to increase stability and to prevent them toppling over for obvious safety reasons.

A very good quality, Antique, William IV, Large English Silver Snuff Box. The box was made by Francis Clark in Birmingham and dates from c1836. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "FC" for Francis Clark, the Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the date letter "n" for 1836/37. The box has reeded sides and engine turned decoration to the base. The lid with a plain silver centre surrounded by an engraved border. The box measures approximately 82mm x 48mm x 20mm. The weight is 94.5g It is in excellent overall condition.

A very nice, good quality, George IV, English Silver Snuff Box. The box was made in London and dates from c1825. The lid of the box with a gold circular cartouche to the centre with a presentation inscription "J Findlay from his friend R.L.". It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "IJ" for John Jones III, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark, and the date letter "k" for 1825/26. The box has engine turned engraving to all sides. The box measures approximately 75mm x 38mm x 20mm. The weight is 64.6g It is in excellent overall condition.

A very nice, good quality, George IV, Large English Silver Snuff Box. The box was made in Birmingham and dates from c1822. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "TS" for Thomas Shaw, the Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the date letter "y" for 1822/23. The box has reeded sides and engine turned decoration to both lid and the base. The base with some very minor flat spots at the edge where the engraving has worn as can be expected given the age. The box measures approximately 90mm x 58mm x 35mm. The weight is 119.2g It is in excellent overall condition.

A good pair of Antique, George III, English Sterling Silver Table or Serving Spoons, made by William Sumner, London and dating from c1784. These spoons have nice bright cut engraving and shell bowls. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "WS" for William Sumner (the mark illegible on one spoon), the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the London town mark and the date letter "i" for 1784. They measure 8 3/4" inches (225mm) in length. The weight is 122.2g/4.31oz/3.93ozt They are in excellent condition.
