A George III English Silver Meat Skewer made in London and dating from c1786. Clearly marked with the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "l" for 1786/87, however the maker's mark is worn. It is in very good condition with marks on the blade as normal and the tip slightly bent. A nice 17th Century piece of Georgian silver. It measures 13" inches (330mm) in length. The weight is 100.2g/3.53oz/3.22ozt

A very nice George IV, English Sterling Silver Stilton Scoop made by John Bettridge of Birmingham and dating from c1823. It is hallmarked with the Lion passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the maker's mark "IB" for John Bettridge, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter "Z" for 1823/24. It measures 8 1/2" inches (213mm) in length. It is in lovely condition.

George IV, English Silver Stilton Scoop c1823
An immaculate George II, Provincial English Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard by John Langlands I, Newcastle and dating from c1757. The tankard hallmarked with the maker's mark "IL" for John langlands I, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver Mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned and the Three Castles town mark for Newcastle and date letter "S" for 1757/58. This is an extremely good example and in excellent condition. It measures 6 3/4" inches (170mm) in height. The base just under 5" inches (123mm) in diameter. The weight is 609g/21.5oz.

A rare 17th Century, Carolean period, English Silver Seal Top Spoon dating from the reign of Charles I, c1635. The spoon with the maker's mark "M" within a crescent. The seal end with the initials "IS". It is in very good condition. The length is 6 1/4" inches (160mm).

A very nice, vintage, Sterling Silver cased, small travel clock . The sterling silver case with hinged mechanism, opening to convert to a stand and reveal the clock face. The sterling silver case has engine turned engraving to all sides. The interior stamped with the retailers name "ORA, Cambridge & Oxford". Also with English sterling silver hallmarks the retailer's mark "SPO" for S P Ora & Co (Stephanus Paul Ora), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "J" for 1933/34. The Swiss made clock movement in working order. The case when closed measures 48mm x 41mm x 12mm. A lovely small silver cased clock.

It has a double crest to the side. This is a good, heavy gauge, silver sauce boat in excellent condition, with only a minor indent to the underside of the body. Victorian English Silver Christening Mug c1893
A very impressive pair of antique, late Victorian English Sterling Corinthian Column Sterling Silver Candlesticks made by Martin & Hall at their Shrewsbury Works in Sheffield and dating from c1900. The candlesticks with reeded columns, the bases decorated with a Ram's head at each corner linked by swags. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "RM/EH" for Martin & Hall (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Crown town mark for Sheffield and date letter "h" for 1900/1901. These large candlesticks measure approx. 13" inches (330mm) in height, the bases 4 1/2" inches (115mm) square. They are in excellent overall condition. The bases are "loaded". This is common with candlesticks where a heavier infill is added to the base in order to increase stability and to prevent them toppling over for obvious safety reasons.
