A lovely pair of Antique, late Victorian, English Silver Cased Binoculars /Opera Glasses made for Le Jockey Club, Paris by Henry Charles Kerly and dating from c1898. The Jockey Club de Paris is best remembered as a gathering of the elite of nineteenth-century French society. The club still exists at 2 Rue Rabelais, and hosts the International Federation of Racing Authorities. It is a traditional gentlemen's club regarded as one of the most prestigious clubs in Paris. The silver case hallmarked with the maker's mark "H.C.K" for Henry Charles Kerly (Powell Street, King Square, London EC), the lion passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "y" for 1898/99. The rim of the eye pieces with the club name "Le Jockey Club, Paris". They are in good condition but do have a few dents (see photos), mainly around the rims, they have been used.

Victorian Silver Binoculars, Jockey Club, Paris
A lovely Antique, Victorian, English Silver Dressing Table Box. The box is hallmarked on the rim of the lid and the underside of the base with the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the maker's mark "H.A" for Atkin Brothers (Henry Atkin), the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Sheffield town mark and date letter "U" for 1887/88. There are engraved initials to the centre of the lid. It measures approximately 78mm in diameter and 70mm in height. The weight is 117.3g/4.13oz/3.77ozt

Victorian Silver Dressing Table Box Sheffield 1887
A very nice, Antique, George III, English Silver Snuff Box. The box was made in Birmingham and dates from c1805. It is hallmarked on the inside of the lid and base with the maker's mark "IS" for John Shaw, the Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the date letter "h" for 1805/06. The box engraved decoration to all sides. The box measures approximately 72mm x 44mm x 17mm. The weight is 53.3g It is in excellent overall condition.

Victorian English Sterling Silver Sugar Sifter
A nice, large, George III, English Sterling Silver cream Jug made in London and dating from c1804. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "I" for 1804/05. Unfortunately the maker's mark is worn and illegible. There is an armorial family crest to the front (see photo). A very nice jug in excellent condition. The jug measures 6 1/2" inches (165mm) from spout to handle. It measures 3 1/2" inches (90mm) in height. The weight is 241.9g/8.53oz/7.77ozt.

A very nice, vintage, English sterling silver, pierced work, swing handled Basket, complete with blue glass liner. It is halmarked on the base with the maker's mark "CJVLd" for C J Vander limited, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "k" for 1965/66. A good quality, antique, George III, English Sterling Silver Teapot made in London by Solomon Hougham and dating from c1816. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "SH" for Solomon Hougham, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "a" for 1816. It measures 5 1/4" inches (135mm) in height and 10" inches (260mm) from the handle to the tip of the spout. The weight is 686g/22.2oz It is in very good condition, if being critical there are some very minor indents and a flat spot to the rim of the base. These minor imperfections of little consequence but mentioned for accuracy of description. Overall a very nice George III, sterling silver teapot.
