The gold plated case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Elgin. The good quality, Elgin 7 jewel Lever movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Sterling Silver American Elgin Pocket Watch c1928
A good, gentleman's American Waltham 18 size Pocket Watch dating from c1897. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The Silverode case was made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Company. Silverode is a nickel alloy that was produce to have the appearance of silver, but much stronger so was often used in railroad and other everyday watches due to its durability. The case is in good condition, all covers screwing off and on smoothly as they should. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker American Waltham Watch Co. The good quality, Waltham 15 jewel Lever movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 53mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Overall, this is a very good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.

A good, gentleman's American Waltham sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1927. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The English made, sterling silver case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "ALD" for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and the date letter "C" for 1927/28. Also stamped with the case maker's name "Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd.,". The rear of the case with engine turned engraving and a central cartouche that is free of initials. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Waltham. The good quality, Waltham Lever movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Swiss Half Hunter Pocket Watch
A good, gentleman's, World War II era, American Elgin Military Pocket Watch. The black dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals, with a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Elgin" (see photo). The base metal watch case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company, it is in excellent condition, but with wear to the plating as is normal with this type of watch. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number A05666 although this is quite worn. Both front and rear covers screw off smoothly as they should. The inside of the rear cover stamped with the case maker's name Keystone. The rear case cover screws off to reveal the 9 jewel Elgin movement. It is signed by the maker "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co., USA". The serial number 41,389425 dating the watch to c1943. The watch is stem wound and set. A lovely watch in good condition, it would make a great addition to any collection. A superb, gentleman's, World War II era, American Waltham Military Pocket Watch. The dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals, with an outer chapter in smaller Arabic numerals in red for the minutes. There is a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Waltham" (see photo). The base metal watch case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company, it is in excellent condition, but with wear to the plating as is normal with this type of watch. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number. Both front and rear covers screw off smoothly as they should. The inside of the rear cover stamped with the case maker's name Keystone. The rear case cover screws off to reveal the 9 jewel Waltham movement, adjusted for temp and in 3 positions. It is signed by the maker "Waltham". The serial number 31,692512 dating the watch to c1942. The watch is stem wound and set. WINEGARTENS RAILWAY REGULATOR POCKET WATCH. A good, gentleman's Pocket Watch retailed by Winegartens of Bishopsgate, London and dating from c1910. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The watch was originally retailed by Winegartens and then re-sold by them in 1968. The accompanying receipt and five year guarantee giving details of the sale dated 1968. It has a base metal case, the back cover engraved "Winegarten's Railway Regulator around a locomotive. The case in very good condition, all covers screwing off/on smoothly as they should. Screwing off the rear of the case reveals the Swiss made, 7 jewel movement. It is in very good condition and working order. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed Winegartens, 145 Bishopsgat4e, London E.C.2. The watch measures 57mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). A RARE, AMERICAN ILLINOIS WATCH COMPANY, SPRINGFIELD, POCKET WATCH, FAHYS CASE. A good, Illinois Watch Company, Springfield, Illinois USA, 11 Jewel, Pocket Watch, Size 18 and dating from c1901. The watch has a good 11 jewel movement. The movement is signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co., Springfield". The white enamel dial is also signed by the maker "Illinois Watch Co.". The hours are in Roman numerals, with 5 minute markers in red and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The watch complete with a nice original set of blued steel hands. The watch is "lever set", the time being set by opening the front "screw off" cover and extracting the small lever located at 2 o'clock before turning the winding stem to rotate the hands. The watch case has the case maker's mark "FAHYS, ORESILVER, No1". The case being made from alloy metal and has "screw-off" front and rear covers. Overall a good example in good condition and working order. The watch measures 55mm across the case.

A VERY GOOD QUALITY, 14CT SOLID GOLD, AMERICAN HAMILTON 950 RAILROAD GRADE POCKET WATCH, 23 JEWELS A very good quality 14CT Solid Gold American HAMILTON Watch Company Pocket Watch with a Railroad grade 950, 23 Jewel movement. A good example of a railroad grade pocket watch in a solid gold case, in good condition and good working order. The 14 carat solid gold case is in excellent condition. The case stamped "Warranted 14K" for 14 carat gold. The case has an engraved inscription on the inner dust cover - see photo. The white enamel dial is in good condition, however there are some hairlines. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Hamilton". The glass is a good fit but not glued in therefore can pop out when the front cover is opened, my preference is to leave it but it could easily be glued in place. The very good quality, Hamilton 950 grade, 23 Jewels movement is in excellent working order. It is signed by the maker "Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster PA" and also "950 Motor Barrel" alongside "23 Jewels, Adjusted 5 Positions". It has a lovely damaskeened finish. All signs of a very good watch. The watch measures 51mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 102.5g.
