A good, gentleman's American Waltham sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1916. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The English made, sterling silver case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "ALD" for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and the date letter "q" for 1915/16. Also stamped with the case maker's name "Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd.,". The rear of the case with engine turned engraving and a central cartouche that is free of initials. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Waltham. The good quality, Waltham Bond Street Lever movement is in excellent working order. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). Overall, this is a very good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.

A very good, gentleman's sterling silver cased Pocket Watch. The watch Swiss made for George Edward & Sons, London & Glasgow, maker to the Queen and the Admiralty. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The plain silver case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It is stamped "0.935" for 0.935 grade silver (slightly higher grade than English sterling silver 0.925) alongside Swiss "three bears" control marks for silver. The case in good condition but does have some indents to the case side band. The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The dial with the watch serial number. The very good quality, Swiss made, 3/4 plate, Lever movement is in excellent working order. It is signed Swiss Made and has the details of G Edward & Sons engraved alongside the serial number 14385 to match the dial and the case, proving all are original and have been together since new. The watch is stem wind/pin set. The time being set by depressing the small pin located at eleven o'clock on the case side band whilst turning the winding crown. The watch measures 50m in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The watch is complete with a jewellers fitted presentation/display case. Overall, this is a good example, it would make a lovely addition to any collection.

A good, Victorian American Waltham Royal, size 12S, sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1896. This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order. The sterling silver case is in good condition. The case is of the type that the movement swings out from the front for inspection, the rear does not open. It is important to remember to pull the winding crown out to the hand set position, prior to attempting to swing out the movement. The case was made by the Crescent Watch case Company and is stamped Fine Silver 925/100 (sterling silver grade). The rear of the case with engraved initials. The case in very good overall condition. The white enamel dial is in good condition, but does have some faint hairlines. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Waltham. The good quality, Waltham Royal 17 jewel Lever movement is in excellent working order. It is stem wind and set. The watch measures 48mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). An antique, 9CT Gold Double Albert Watch Chain. The 9CT Gold Albert watch chain with rose gold and white gold chain links. The links each stamped "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold. The t-bar hallmarked with the maker's mark "AB" and "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold and the anchor town mark for Birmingham. The end clips similarly marked. This is a slim chain, in my opinion most suitable for a fob watch or lighter pocket watch (not a large heavy watch). The chain measures 17 1/2" inches, (445mm) in length. The weight is 18.8g.
