A very nice and rare Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle by David Manson, Dundee c1810. A lovely ladle that can also be used as a sauce or cream ladle. David Manson is recorded as working in Dundee c1810. The ladle is hallmarked with the maker's mark DM struck twice for David Manson, either side of the "Pot o' Lilies", the Dundee town mark. It measures approximately 6" inches (160mm) in length. The weight is 22.6g. It is in excellent condition, a lovely addition to any collection, or for use on a special occasion. A rare, Georgian Antique English Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made by Peter & William Bateman in London and dating from c1805/06. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "PB/WB" for Peter & William Bateman, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "k" for 1805/06. It measures just under 9" inches (225mm) in length. In good condition.

English Silver Marrow Scoop, P&W Bateman c1805
A very nice, 18th century, Scottish Provincial Silver Serving Spoon or large Table Spoon by a relatively rare maker, James Smith, Aberdeen c1790. James Smith is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1778 - 1801. The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's mark "IS" for James Smith and "ABD" the Aberdeen town mark. It measures 8 1/2" inches (220mm) in length. The weight is 66.5g. It is in excellent condition, a lovely addition to any collection, or for use on a special occasion. A superb set of Four Antique, George II, Scottish Sterling Silver Tablespoons dating from c1746. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark WA for William Aytoun, the Edinburgh castle town mark, the Assay Master's mark HG for Hugh Gordon and date letter R for 1746/47. They measure just over 8 1/2" inches (215mm) in length. The weight is 288.2g/10.16oz/9.26ozt. They are in excellent condition.

A very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver serving spoon or large table spoon made in Dumfries by David Gray dating from c1815. David Gray is recorded as working in Dumfries from c1810 - 1841. The spoon is marked with the Maker's Mark "DG" (struck twice) for David Gray, alongside his marks for Dumfries. There are initials engraved on the handle. It is in excellent condition. It measures 9" inches (230mm) in length. The weight is 77.4g.

An unusual, antique, Victorian, novelty silver dish in the form of a Viking longship or longboat, datong from c1898. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark (mark worn), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "C" for 1898/99. Victorian Novelty Silver Viking Longship Dish
A vintage Scottish Provincial Silver Clan Badge Brooch dating from c1967 and made by John Fraser of Inverness. The badge with the MacBean clan crest and motto "Touch not a catt bot a targe" which means "Don't touch a cat without a shield". The rear hallmarked with the makers mark JF and INS for Inverness alongside the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter M for 1967/68. It measures 45mm in diameter and the weight is 23.4g. It is in excellent condition.

A rare set of six, Scottish Provincial Silver dessert Spoons made in Dundee by Alexander Cameron and dating from 1820. Cameron is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Dundee c1818 to 1840. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark AC for Alexander Cameron, Dundee, alongside Scottish thistle, the Pot O' lilies Dundee town mark and a letter C. The spoons are in very good condition. They measure approximately 7 1/4" inches (185mm) in length. The total weight is 210.6g/7.43oz/6.77ozt.

Set Six Scottish Provincial Dessert Spoons, Dundee
A very nice English Sterling Silver card Case made by Joseph Willmore. The bottom of the case hallmarked with the maker's mark JW for Joseph Willmore, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the Lion Passant sterling silver mark. No date letter or town mark, however Joseph Willmore is recorded as using this mark in Birmingham from 1797. The Monarch's Head indicating it is pre Victorian, therefore the case dates from 1797 to 1836. The case has very nice engine turned engraving to both front and rear with plain silver sides. A lovely card case in very nice condition, with only some very minor indents at the corner. It measures 95mm x 70mm x 9mm. The weight is 82.2g.

A very good Scottish Silver & Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1850. The Ram's Horn body of the snuff mull in very good condition with good colour and patina. The silver top set with a coloured stone, the horn body with an applied silver thistle. The silver collar and lid, unmarked as is the norm, therefore must sell as white metal. The silver collar and lid in excellent condition, however the collar is a little loose, therefore care required when opening. It measures approximately 3 1/2" inches (75mm) in length.

Scottish Silver Ram's Horn Snuff Mull c1850
A very good quality Scottish novelty sterling silver Thistle Whisky Tot Cup, tumbler or beaker made by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh. The famous Edinburgh Jewellers & Silversmiths were founded in 1866 and have held the Royal Warrant as silversmiths to Her Majesty the Queen for over 120 years. Hamilton & Inches are still trading from their premises at 87 George Street, Edinburgh. The tumbler is hallmarked with the maker's mark H&I for Hamilton & Inches, .925 and the Scottish thistle for sterling silver, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter e for 2004. It measures approximately 40mm in diameter, 50mm in height and the weight is 42.1g. Complete with original cardboard box/packaging. A really nice item, it would make an excellent gift. Great for someone to enjoy a dram of whisky (or gin, vodka, rum) on a special occasion.
