A rare set of six, Scottish Provincial Silver dessert Spoons made in Dundee by Alexander Cameron and dating from 1820. Cameron is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Dundee c1818 to 1840. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark AC for Alexander Cameron, Dundee, alongside Scottish thistle, the Pot O' lilies Dundee town mark and a letter C. The spoons are in very good condition. They measure approximately 7 1/4" inches (185mm) in length. The total weight is 210.6g/7.43oz/6.77ozt.

Set Six Scottish Provincial Dessert Spoons, Dundee
A very good Scottish Silver & Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1850. The Ram's Horn body of the snuff mull in very good condition with good colour and patina. The silver top set with a coloured stone, the horn body with an applied silver thistle. The silver collar and lid, unmarked as is the norm, therefore must sell as white metal. The silver collar and lid in excellent condition, however the collar is a little loose, therefore care required when opening. It measures approximately 3 1/2" inches (75mm) in length.

Scottish Silver Ram's Horn Snuff Mull c1850
A very good quality Scottish novelty sterling silver Thistle Whisky Tot Cup, tumbler or beaker made by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh. The famous Edinburgh Jewellers & Silversmiths were founded in 1866 and have held the Royal Warrant as silversmiths to Her Majesty the Queen for over 120 years. Hamilton & Inches are still trading from their premises at 87 George Street, Edinburgh. The tumbler is hallmarked with the maker's mark H&I for Hamilton & Inches, .925 and the Scottish thistle for sterling silver, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter e for 2004. It measures approximately 40mm in diameter, 50mm in height and the weight is 42.1g. Complete with original cardboard box/packaging. A really nice item, it would make an excellent gift. Great for someone to enjoy a dram of whisky (or gin, vodka, rum) on a special occasion.

A very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made in Aberdeen by Peter Ross dating from c1820. Peter Ross is recorded as working in Aberdeen from c1819 - 1822. A lovely ladle that could also be used as a cream or sauce ladle. The ladle is marked with the Maker's Mark "PR" (struck thrice) for Peter Ross, Aberdeen. It has the initial "F" engraved on the handle. It is in excellent condition. It measures approximately 6 1/4" inches (165mm) in length. The weight is 32.0g.

The tumbler is hallmarked with the maker's mark H&I for Hamilton & Inches, .925 and the Scottish Lion Rampant for sterling silver, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter t for 2018. A very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver serving spoon or large table spoon made in Dundee by William Young dating from c1805. William Young is a relatively rare maker and is recorded as working in Dundee from c1805. The spoon is marked with the Maker's Mark "WY" (struck twice) for William Young, alongside the "Pot O' Lilies" Dundee town mark (struck twice). It has the initial "D" engraved on the handle. It is in excellent condition. It measures just over 9" inches (230mm) in length. The weight is 79.7g.

The spoon has a very good set of clear marks, with the Maker's Mark "WS" for William Simpson, a letter "e", the "thistle" mark and letter "B" for Banff. It has an engraved initial. Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle, Dundee
A very nice, good quality, Sterling Silver Scottish Quaich made by Brook & Son of Edinburgh. The firm of Brook & Son was established in 1891 and traded until 1941, trading from their premises at 87 George Street, Edinburgh (these premises now the home of Hamilton & Inches). Brook & Son are well known for making reproductions of the Roman treasure hoard found at Traprain Law Hill, Edinburgh. A very nice, plain silver Quaich with no engravings nor personal inscriptions. Unusually, there is a glass silver liner enabling the quaich to be used as a dish for other items without fear of scratching the silver. The Quaich was assayed in Edinburgh, it is hallmarked with the maker's mark "B&S" for Brook & Son, the Scottish thistle Sterling Silver mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "S" for 1923/24. Also stamped to the underside of the base Brook & Son, 87 George Street, Edinburgh. The Quaich measures 3 1/2" inches (90mm) in diameter (across the bowl) and measures just over 5" inches (130mm) in width across the lugs. The weight (excluding the glass liner) is 87.0g/3.06oz/2.79ozt. It is in excellent condition.

The Quaich measures 4 3/4" inches (120mm) in diameter (across the bowl) and measures just over 6 1/2" inches (165mm) in width across the lugs. The weight is 172.7g/6.09oz/5.55ozt It is in excellent condition.

Scottish Silver Quaich, H&I Edinburgh c1922
A rare, Antique, William IV, Scottish Silver Snuff Box made by James Nasmyth of Edinburgh and dating from c1833. Scottish made snuff boxes are relatively rare and this is a nice example. The inside of the base is hallmarked with the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Scottish thistle silver mark, the maker's mark JN for James Nasmyth, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter B for 1833/34. The inside of the lid similarly hallmarked. The exterior of the box with lovely engine turned engraving to all sides and base. The lid with engine turned engraved edge border to a plain silver centre. The box measures 80mm x 50mm x 17mm. The weight is 106.6g. Scottish Silver Snuff Box, Nasmyth Edinburgh c1833
Pair of Scottish Provincial Silver Wishbone Tongs, Ballater. A good pair of Scottish Provincial Silver Wishbone Sugar Tongs by William J Fraser of Ballater. They are hallmarked with the Edinburgh Castle town mark, the Scottish thistle silver mark and date letter "Y" for 1929/30, above the maker's mark "W.J.F" for William James Fraser of Ballater. They measure 105mm in length and weigh 14.6g. After the death of William Robb his Ballater shop was left to his daughter. William James Fraser was the Son in Law of William Robb Ballater and traded in Ballater from around 1927 to 1940. Fraser continued to produce many of the silver items made popular by William Robb, such as these tongs.
