A RARE ANTIQUE SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL SILVER & HORN QUAICH "SGUAB AS 'I" - WD&Co, ABERDEEN, A very good Scottish Provincial Horn & Silver Quaich made by William Dunningham & Co. of Aberdeen. The base of the Quaich with a silver disc that is hallmarked with the maker's "WD&Co" for William Dunningham & Co. (Aberdeen) alongside the Scottish "thistle" sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "A" for 1906/07. The disc also engraved with the Gaelic motto "Sguab As 'I". The lugs also have applied silver discs, one engraved with thistles, the other with the date "1907". It measures 55mm in diameter and 100mm in length across the lugs. The height is 27mm In excellent condition.

A Scottish Provincial Silver Dessert Spoon made by John Heron of Greenock and dating from c1810. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JH" for John Heron, alongside side the anchor and "Green Oak Tree" mark for Greenock and the letter "C". There are engraved initials and the number "1" on the handle (see photos) It measures just over 7" inches (180mm) in length. In excellent condition.

A very good Set of Six Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Desset Spoons made by John Leslie of Aberdeen. They are hallmarked with the maker's "IL" for John Leslie alongside a letter and the "Three Turrets" town mark for Aberdeen. John Leslie is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Aberdeen c1774 - 1821. The spoons have the engraved initial "C". It measures just over 6 1/2" inches (170mm) in length. The weight is 166.6g/5.87oz/5.35ozt In excellent condition.

A very good Set of Four Antique, George III, Scottish Sterling Silver Sauce Ladles made in Edinburgh by Alexander Zeigler and dating from c1790. The have the engraved initial "H" on the handles. They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "AZ", the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and the Monarch's Head Duty Mark. There is no date letter however they would date from c1790. Alexander Zeigler is recorded as working in Edinburgh from 1784 - 1802. They measure approximately 6 3/4" inches (170mm) in length.
